The Story of Crooked Willow

 Five years ago, Crooked Willow, a quaint farm site was transformed into a cozy antique and vintage accessory showroom.  The one simple philosophy at the heart of this dream was, “if you love it, you should use it".

Over the years, Chris and Terri Anderson, owners of Crooked Willow, filled their home with antique and repurposed pieces.  Wanting to share their “if you love it, you should use it” philosophy; these longtime salvagers of the past had the passion and vision to renovate an old farmstead just outside of Osakis in West Central Minnesota. Trips to salvage dealers, auctions and flea markets yielded tin ceilings, built-in cupboards and antique lighting.  Along with some of the original wood floors, this impressive, yet charming showroom pays homage to the past throughout its design.

Terri teamed up with her lifelong friend, Rhonda Pooler, to create an inviting shopping experience in a charming rural setting.  Both Terri and Rhonda have an enthusiasm for showing their customers how to mix the old with the new.  Antiques are placed throughout the multiple showrooms nestled in with new and repurposed items.  They try to always stay true to the vintage look their customers have come to expect of Crooked Willow.

As you stroll through the beautifully restored Barn, Summer Kitchen and Trappers Lodge you will be elated to discover history and detail in very  corner.
