Founder & CEO Jill Blashack Strahan created Tastefully Simple in Alexandria, Minnesota, in 1995. She bootstrapped the business with her own cash, a $20,000 SBA loan and an investment from silent founding partner Joani Nielson, who later began an active role as Founding Partner & COO. And the rest is history!

Although Tastefully Simple began in a small shed with no running water or air conditioning, today our headquarters at Turning Leaf Lane occupies nearly 200,000 square feet on a 79-acre site overlooking beautiful woods and wetlands.

Tastefully Simple’s unique approach has been an incredible hit, resulting in sales of over $100 million each year for the last seven years and more than 28,000 consultants in 2009. Tastefully Simple’s phenomenal growth is a result of excellent products and committed consultants.
